MxV Rail is accepting applications for its new student travel grant program, which will provide recipients up to $1,500 in travel reimbursement and complimentary registration for the 31st annual Association of American Railroads (AAR) Research Review conference. Applications are due March 6.

To be held April 28-30 at MxV Rail's research and testing facilities in Pueblo, Colorado, the AAR Research Review is a showcase of emerging rail technology, research and advancements in safety, testing and innovation.

Applicants must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students at U.S. higher education institutions that are accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), according to a press release from MxV Rail. Recipients will be notified of their selection by March 20.

The student travel grant program replaces MxV Rail's University Days program, which was a separate event open exclusively to students and faculty and not part of the AAR Research Review.

The application can be completed here.
