Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) has named David Leininger interim president and CEO, effective May 4. Leininger returns to the same transitional role he held at DART from 2020 to 2021. He also served as the transit agency's chief financial officer from 2008 to 2018. He will oversee day-to-day operations and support ongoing strategic initiatives while DART's board searches for a permanent president and CEO, agency officials said in a press release. On April 4, DART announced the termination of former President and CEO Nadine Lee following unsuccessful discussions on a separation agreement.

RailPros has hired Adam Christian as vice president for its Canadian operations. He will be based out of the company's Toronto office and support RailPros' expansion into the Canadian passenger- and freight-rail industries, RailPros officials said in a press release. Christian has more than 20 years of experience in the rail and transit industries around the globe. RailPros provides engineering, training, media production and field services to the railroad industry.

Northern Plains Rail Services last week in a social media post announced the promotion of Ben Liden to vice president of operations. In his new capacity, Liden will oversee day-to-day operations across both Northern Plains Rail Services and Northern Plains Railroad, the company's regional that operates in North Dakota and western Minnesota. Liden joined Northern Plains in late 2014 as a roadmaster. He most recently served as director of safety and operational development, according to his LinkedIn page.
