Pacer International Inc. recently promoted Adriene Bailey to executive vice president of strategy and organizational development. Reporting to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Michael Uremovich, she will manage Pacer's newly consolidated human resources, corporate marketing and organizational development functions.
Bailey most recently led a development team charged with identifying cost efficiencies and organizational improvements. Since joining Pacer in 2000 as VP of planning, she has held several executive management positions at Pacer Stacktrain.
Bailey's work history also includes stints as assistant VP of service planning and operations research for CSX Transportation, VP of service planning and design for Southern Pacific Railroad, and consultant for Mercer Management Consulting and predecessor Temple, Barker & Sloane.
Pacer International provides third-party logistics and freight transportation services, including intermodal and local trucking.
