CSX recently touted its growing partnership with Regional Rail LLC, a short-line holding company that owns and operates 17 railroads in the United States and western Canada.
Shippers benefit from the Class I's national reach and Regional Rail's local expertise and freight transloading and industrial development services, CSX officials shared in an online article.
"CSX has been a very close ally of ours for a lot of years," said Mark Meyer, AVP of marketing and sales for Regional Rail's southern district. "What I value most is the market intelligence we share with the marketing team. That feedback helps me better understand markets I’m not an expert in and align with CSX’s goals to identify mutually beneficial business opportunities."
