Wabtec Corp. has named Albert Neupaver chairman and chief executive officer, and Raymond Betler, president and chief operating officer. Neupaver has served as president and CEO, and a board member since 2006. He succeeds William Kassling as chairman and will remain CEO. Kassling will remain on the board in the role of lead director. Betler joined Wabtec in 2008 as vice president and group executive of the company's Transit Group, and was promoted to COO in 2010. Betler has more than 30 years of experience in transportation.Patrick Lutzko has joined Lilee Systems as national accounts manager-freight. He will focus on growing product and technology business with North American freight railroads. Lutzko has nearly two decades of experience in supplying products and systems to Class Is, short lines, regionals, OEMs and specialty equipment manufacturers. Most recently, he was regional sales manager at Wabtec.Alstom and joint venture Shanghai Alstom Transport Electrical Equipment Co. Ltd. have obtained a $36 million contract from Nanjing Metro Group to provide traction systems and services to the Metro's Line 4 Phase I project. The line is expected to begin commercial operation in October 2015.Bombardier Transportation has turned over the last Flexity tram of the new series to the Krakow Transport Authority MPK Krakow in Poland. The fourth order for 24 Flexity trams was placed in 2010. The total number of vehicles ordered by the authority now stands at 74, according to a Bombardier press release.Bowen Civil Engineering Inc. (BCE), of Jacksonville, Fla., has become part of Hanson Professional Services, adding expanded civil and transportation engineering, design services and 12 engineering professionals to Hanson's national consulting practice. BCE President Chantal Bowen will join Hanson as a senior project manager, while BCE Vice President Randy Downing will serve as a project manager. Jeff Bowen will join Hanson as a vice president and will serve as a senior transportation engineer in the firm's Jacksonville office. Prior to joining Hanson, he was a VP at Reynolds, Smith and Hills Inc.
