Specialty chemical manufacturer COIM USA has chosen the TexAmericas Center rail-served industrial park in New Boston, Texas, as the site for a $50 million manufacturing plant expansion.

In 2024, COIM USA acquired a 20-acre site at the center featuring a 25,000-square-foot, rail-served facility and existing logistics and transload infrastructure. The expanded facility will serve as the company’s mid-South manufacturing and distribution platform.

Union Pacific Focus Site, the TexAmericas Center serves Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The center features an on-site 350-car rail yard and more than 36 miles of rail, offering transload, rail-car storage and spotting, and third-party logistics services.

"The TexAmericas Center location broadens our geographic reach, expands our sustainable portfolio and enhances COIM USA's ability to serve customers with greater speed, efficiency and resiliency,” said COIM USA President Michelangelo Cavallo in a press release.

COIM plans to begin operations in the existing facility during first-quarter 2027.
