advertisement

For the fourth-consecutive year, Union Pacific Railroad has been named one of the 50 best U.S. companies for female Latina employees by LATINA Style magazine.

The award recognizes companies that are sensitive to professional Hispanic women’s needs and goals in the workplace. The magazine evaluated more than 800 companies’ number of Latina executives and board members, mentoring programs, educational opportunities, alternative work policies, dependent/child care support, employee benefits, women’s issues, downsize retraining and Hispanic relations.

The magazine recognized UP for its recruitment and advancement opportunities for women, employee benefits, work/life balance initiatives, mentoring and leadership training, and advertising and recruitment efforts in Hispanic media.
