The CPKC Holiday Train will start its 2026 program on Nov. 19 in Montreal, kicking off a 32-day journey across Canada and the U.S. in support of local food banks.
This year's Holiday Train will make 182 stops across six provinces and 13 states. Each stop features live music, and event attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food or cash donations for local food banks. Since 1999, the Holiday Train has raised over CA$28.3 million and collected more than 5.6 million pounds of food for community food banks.
The 2026 tour will go further south than it has before, making 10 new stops in communities in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Missouri, CPKC President and CEO Keith Creel said in a press release.
"Through the generosity of the thousands of families and fans who come out to see the Holiday Train and support local food banks, whether for the first time or as part of a long-running holiday tradition, we can spread the joy of the season and support the giving spirit of the holidays," Creel added.
The tour schedule, including musical guest line up, can be found on the CPKC Holiday Train webpage.
