TriMet to add light-rail trains

On Nov. 30, the Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon will add service on one of its light-rail lines and several bus lines to help relieve crowding.
The agency will operate six additional peak-period trains on the MAX Blue Line. Between January and October, rush-hour light-rail ridership rose 5.8 percent compared with the total from the same 2007 period.
