For the second-straight year, BNSF Logistics L.L.C. is listed on Inbound Logistics magazine’s top-10 logistics providers list. BNSF achieved a top ranking in the magazine’s annual “Top 10 3PL Excellence Award” survey of transportation, supply-chain and purchasing professionals that use third-party logistics (3PL) services.
Rankings were based on 3PLs’ performance in more than 20 categories, including integrated logistics, process re-engineering, consulting and import, and export and customs capabilities. Survey participants included logistics, transportation, supply chain and purchasing senior managers who use 3PL services.
A wholly owned BNSF Corp. subsidiary, BNSF Logistics provides supply-chain services ranging from management of single shipment transactions to daily management of distribution and sourcing networks.
