This summer, the Midwest High Speed Rail Association will lead a group of high-speed rail and transit advocates on a tour of Europe’s rail systems.
The group will visit five cities, beginning in Berlin on June 22 and ending in Paris on July 1. The trip will include a tour of Berlin’s new central station, several high-speed trains, new streetcar lines and bike rental programs. In addition, local leaders will give presentations on their mode-shift programs.
