Patriot Rail announced the appointment of Anthony Evett as vice president of design and construction. Evett has more than two decades of experience in transportation, maritime and freight infrastructure. Previously, he served as chief engineering officer at the Port of New Orleans, project manager at Volkert Inc. and quality control systems manager at Shaw Environmental. Evett began his career as a design engineer at the Texas Department of Transportation. "Tony brings a rare combination of technical expertise, strategic vision and collaborative leadership to Patriot Rail," said Patriot Rail CEO Brandy Christian in a press release.
Keolis Commuter Services (KCS) has appointed John Killeen as CEO. KCS is the operations and maintenance manager of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s commuter-rail system. Most recently, Killeen was vice president and asset manager at KCS. He has more than 25 years of leadership experience at major commuter-rail networks in North America and Europe. "John’s dedication and expertise will be essential as Keolis continues to improve service for the greater Boston community,” said Brad Thomas, CEO of Keolis North America, in a press release.
H.W. Lochner Inc. has added Chad Edwards to its national transit team. Edwards brings more than two decades of experience advancing transit and rail initiatives across Texas, serving in key leadership roles at Trinity Metro in Fort Worth and Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Lochner officials said in a press release. Most recently, he served as vice president of strategy, planning and development for Trinity Metro. At Lochner, he will be responsible for working with clients nationwide to deliver transit and rail projects.
Arup has appointed Gillian Blake as portfolio leader of the Americas transport market. In this role, she will lead the firm's transportation projects across the Americas, overseeing Arup’s rail, roads/streets, aviation and maritime businesses. Based in New York, Gillian has over 30 years of experience at Arup, including design and project leadership on various transport, railroad and subway projects, and associated transit-oriented developments.
