Last year, Mary Jo Keating succeeded Richard Russack as vice president of corporate relations for BNSF Railway Co. Now, she's assuming another position Russack vacated after retiring.
The Burlington Northern Santa Fe Foundation recently named Keating president. Russack, who retired as VP in April 2007, held the post through the end of '07.
Created in 1996, the BNSF Foundation serves as the philanthropy arm for BNSF Railway Co. The foundation aims to contribute to the communities served by BNSF and initiate support for local projects.
