The Jacksonville Port Authority's (Jaxport) board earlier this week elected John Falconetti as chairman. Falconetti is chairman and chief executive officer of Drummond Press, a Jacksonville print services provider. He previously served as Jaxport's chairman from 2014 to 2015.He also has held leadership positions for numerous high-level state and local boards, according to a Jaxport news release.Falconetti will chair the authority's board through Sept. 30, 2019.Other newly elected board members include John Baker, who was named vice chairman; Jamie Shelton, treasurer; and Wendy Hamilton, secretary. Jaxport, which this year logged its best July ever in container volumes, is served by CSX, Norfolk Southern Railway and Florida East Coast Railway.
