The Dallas Area Rapid Transit's board announced yesterday it elected Randall Bryant as chair for a two-year term.
Bryant represents the city of Dallas on DART's board is the 22nd board chairman to be sworn in.
The Dallas City Council appointed Bryant to the board in 2024 to fill a vacant term and reappointed him to a full two-year term in May, DART officials said in a press release.
Bryant also serves on the American Public Transportation Association's board. He now will represent DART on the North Central Texas Council of Government's Regional Transportation Council. Professionally, Bryant is the CEO of Politics United Marketing, a Texas-based firm that provides government affairs, public relations and political consulting services.
DART's board also elected Marc Abraham, representing the city of Garland, to vice chair; Carmen Garcia, representing Dallas, to board secretary; and Mark Enoch, representing the cities of Garland, Glenn Heights and Rowlett, to assistant secretary.
