Butler, Krehbiel to take on new VP roles at UP

Today, Union Pacific Railroad announced it appointed Eric Butler vice president and general manager-industrial products and Julie Krehbiel, VP and GM-automotive, to succeed Butler.

Succeeding Greg Barbe, who recently resigned, Butler joined UP in 1986, serving stints as VP-planning and analysis, and VP-purchasing. He will be responsible for UP's industrial development group and subsidiary Union Pacific Distribution Services.

A UP employee since 1988, Krehbiel most recently served as assistant VP and GM of Union Pacific Distribution Services. She previously held various positions in the automotive group and managed General Motors Corp.’s account. Krehbiel will be responsible for UP’s automotive and auto-parts business, which generated $1.2 billion in revenue last year.
