The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) in California will launch a redesigned website focused on light rail and multimodal trip planning later this month.

Before the official launch, riders are being encouraged to familiarize themselves with the new site and provide feedback via a test link, according to a VTA press release.

The new website includes real-time arrival data, trip planning features, transit schedules, as well as searchable information on transit projects, programs, governance and employment.

Following the website launch,VTA will make enhancements and add features based on user needs and feedback.

Planned future enhancements include real-time service alerts, custom service alerts tailored to individual interests, a customer service chat feature and integrated event registration for public meetings and other events.
