The Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) new rail station opened Oct. 25 at Salt Lake International Airport, after 19 months of construction.
The station, which serves the TRAX Green Line, is 4,700 square feet and features new wayfinding signs. The project also involved extending the rail line 1,500 feet.
The new facility replaces the old station, which opened in April 2013. It served more than 2.7 million trips over eight years, UTA officials said in a post on the agency's website.
Train tickets may be purchased at nearby ticket vending machines or on the UTA's mobile app.
