NJ Transit's Mount Arlington Station open for business

On Monday, New Jersey Transit officially opened the new Mount Arlington Station, which will offer commuters along the busy Interstate 80 corridor access to rail.
On weekdays, the station will be served by trains on the Montclair-Boonton and Morristown lines, enabling passengers to travel to Hoboken Terminal, where they can transfer to Port Authority Trans-Hudson trains, buses and trans-Hudson ferries. Passengers also can travel from the station to midtown Manhattan by transferring to MidTOWN DIRECT service at the Dover or Montclair State University stations.
The $12.1 million intermodal facility will be served by 34 trains daily, as well as private-carrier buses.
The station features two high-level platforms, heated waiting shelters on the inbound platform, a pedestrian underpass, and public-address and passenger communication systems.
