Maryland moves forward with MARC station improvements
advertisement
The Maryland Transit Administration is moving forward with plans to expand parking at the West Baltimore MARC Station.
The agency will hold an open house July 20 to discuss changes to traffic and parking; review draft designs for the parking expansion; and review "how the project will work with the existing streets," the Red Line, and future transit-oriented development (TOD).
The expansion is the first step in rebuilding the areas surrounding the station. The demolition phase is scheduled to begin this summer and will provide space for the parking expansion and community beautification efforts.
