The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA Metro) is initiating a a draft environmental impact report (DEIR) process for the proposed C Line (Green) light-rail extension to Torrance.
As part of preparing the DEIR, LA Metro has scheduled two virtual scoping meetings, Feb. 24 and Feb. 27, to gather public input on the project's potential impact on the environment. The formal scoping comment period runs through March 15.
The C Line (Green) Extension to Torrance project could include light-rail transit options between the existing Redondo Beach Station and the under-construction Torrance Transit Center. Trains from both the Metro C Line and the future Crenshaw/LAX transit project may run on this new extension.
