Bay area transit agencies to develop regional rail plan
advertisement
This week, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, Caltrain, Bay Area Rapid Transit and the California High Speed Rail Authority will host public workshops to help develop a regional rail plan for the San Francisco Bay area.
Attendees will discuss ways to improve the bay area’s existing rail system, plan for growth, evaluate initial rail concepts and better share corridors, and identify potential locations for new rail extensions and stations.
The high-speed rail authority also will use the workshops to review its bay area-to-Central Valley high-speed train program.
