On Friday, Canadian National Railway Co. announced United Transportation Union members ratified a three-year agreement affecting 2,600 conductors, assistant conductors, yard service workers and traffic coordinators.
Retroactive to Jan. 1, 2004, the contract increases wages, and improves benefits and work-life issues, said UTU Vice President John Armstrong in a prepared statement.
