Rail News: Amtrak
Amtrak, Crayola partner to market summer travel to families

Amtrak and Crayola are partnering this summer to provide free travel and interactive experiences for children.
Now through Aug. 31, children travel at no cost in Coach or First Class on the Amtrak Auto Train, which carries passengers and their automobiles between Lorton, Virginia, and Sanford, Florida, daily, Amtrak officials said in a press release.
In addition, children will be admitted at no cost to the Crayola Experience, an interactive exhibit, with proof of a child Amtrak ticket. The offer is available at Crayola Experience locations in Easton, Pennsylvania; Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota; Orlando, Florida; and Plano, Texas.
Amtrak has also wrapped two ACS-64 Sprinter electric locomotives with Crayola crayon designs to commemorate Crayola’s limited-edition collection of “unretired” crayon colors.
