10East Corp. recently introduced Bolt-on Maps, a Web-based “pay as you go” mapping service that can be integrated with most corporate business systems.
Bolt-on Maps features click-and-drag map panning, zooming and centering, and navigation tools. Designed to work in tight security environments, the service also offers customized base maps, text and graphical map markers, and information balloons.
“10East identified a need to augment its RailDOCS suite of services with user-friendly interfaces based on interactive maps,” said 10East Vice President Mike Wilson in a prepared statement.
RailDOCS™, or the Railway Daily Operations Control System, is a Web-based operating management platform designed to help freight railroads and transit agencies manage business intelligence and processes, personnel and projects. 10East markets business management software products to the North American railroad industry.
