On Feb. 23, The Greenbrier Cos. Inc. announced it promoted senior accountant Linda Olinger to vice president and controller.
Since joining the company in 2000, Olinger has helped lead Greenbrier's forecasting, financial reporting and compliance efforts. A Certified Public Accountant, she has more than 15 years' experience in senior accounting.
Greenbrier builds rail cars in the United States, Canada and Mexico, and repairs and refurbishes cars and wheels at 13 North American locations. The company also builds and refurbishes cars in Poland, manufactures cars through unaffiliated subcontractors, produces castings through an unconsolidated joint venture, owns 12,000 cars and manages 113,000 cars.
