• Ansaldo STS is part of a "temporary consortium" that has received a seven-year, $1.9 billion framework contract from Italy's Ferservizi to manage the data processing infrastructure, and software application and call-center development for rail operator Ferrovie dello Stato, according to a prepared statement. For its part in the five-company consortium, Ansaldo STS will manage and develop applications for traffic control and public information systems.
