Sound Transit is seeking public feedback on the planned Everett Link light-rail extension as part of National Environmental policy Act (NEPA) scoping.
Now through Aug. 28, the public is invited to share comments on the project's purpose and need, alternatives to be studied in the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and potential environmental impacts, and possible topics to study in the EIS, Sound Transit officials said in a press release.
Feedback will be shared with decision makers to help in preparing the draft EIS with the Federal Transit Administration. The draft EIS will study the 16 miles of light rail and seven new stations planned to connect Snohomish County to the Link light-rail network in the Seattle area.
Interested parties can learn more and submit feedback on the Everett Link extension website.
