USDOT's research arm seeks small business innovation proposals
advertisement
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Research and Innovative Technology Administration (RITA) is launching the first of two Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program solicitations for 2009.
RITA encourages small high-tech and innovative businesses to be a part of the federal government's research and development efforts by submitting a research proposal that addresses a transportation challenge or a high-priority national transportation goal.
Proposals will be accepted until April 15. The SBIR program is administered by RITA’s Volpe National Transportation Systems Center on behalf of the USDOT’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization.
