Rail News: Railroading Supplier Spotlight
Montreal’s Agence Métropolitaine de Transport recently awarded a contract to Union Switch & Signal Inc. to design, install and test an NS-1 relay-based wayside signal system for a 3.2-mile subway extension.
Union Switch & Signal would provide wayside signaling systems for three new and three upgraded stations, and supply and install impulse track circuits, NS-1 relays, switch machines, signals, impedance bonds and local control panels.
The project is scheduled to be completed in 2006.
