Duos Technologies Group Inc.'s board has elected retired Brig. Gen. James Craig Nixon to succeed Kenneth Ehrman as chairman. After retiring in 2011 following nearly 29 years of military service, Nixon transitioned into business leadership. He was a founding partner of the McChrystal Group, a leadership consultancy, and currently serves as CEO of Nixon Six Solutions. Nixon's "strategic mindset and business acumen will be invaluable as we continue scaling our data infrastructure and energy businesses alongside our established AI technology platforms," said Duos CEO Chuck Ferry in a press release. Ehrman, who chaired Duos' board since 2020, stepped down to pursue the growth of Hallo Collar, a smart pet safety solutions business.

Pandrol, through a contract with Alstom, is supplying its rail fastening systems for the Paris region's Metro Line 18, one of four new lines of the Grand Paris Express, a major expansion project of the Paris Île-de-France Metro that is now under construction. Pandrol’s rail fastening solutions will be installed along various sections of the track, including a 8.7-mile, cut-and-cover underground section and a 4-mile viaduct. Full operation of the new Metro Line 18 is anticipated to open by 2030. A dollar value of Pandrol's contract with Alstom was not disclosed in a press release.
