A. Stucki Co. has appointed Michael Delfin chief commercial officer. Delfin joins Stucki with more than 30 years of leadership experience in business development and sales. Most recently, he was executive vice president and CMO with Peterson Spring/Dura-Shiloh, where he managed $1.3 billion in revenue from the production of engineered components, advanced formed products and complex assemblies. Before that he was VP of business development for the Agrati Group, a manufacturer of fasteners and components solutions.

RailPulse and Nexxiot today announced an agreement designed to make it easier for rail-car owners to access Nexxiot products and services and join the RailPulse platform. The agreement allows RailPulse to act as a non-exclusive reseller of Nexxiot's hardware devices, software and services to RailPulse customers within North America. The goal is to simplify the process of procuring telemetry solutions for rail-car owners who want to be part of the RailPulse community, not to generate profit for RailPulse, RailPulse and Nexxiot officials said in a joint press release.

Nokia and Siemens Mobility are collaborating to provide an IP/MPLS backbone communications network and Nokia NetGuard Cybersecurity solution for the new Sydney Metro-Western Sydney Airport line. The system will support highly secure mission-critical applications and passenger services across the new 14-mile railway connecting to six stations, 12 new metro trains, core rail system, service facility at Claremont Meadows and Bringelly, according to a news release.

Pandrol Rahee Technologies recently unveiled a new facility at Barjora in Bankura, West Bengal, India. Pandrol, a supplier of rail fastening systems and aluminothermic welding, and Rahee Group, a manufacturer of railway track products in India, came together in 2005 for Metro projects and the supply of fastening systems for ballast-less track. A new manufacturing plant was opened in Hyderabad in 2018 for the production of the fastenings, both for the Metro as well as heavy-haul and high-speed projects.
