On May 31, Progressive Railroading will host a virtual rail summit titled, "Threats to Talents: Navigating Cybersecurity and Recruiting Trends in Rail."
The summit will explore how information technology and digital technology are transforming the rail industry, and how railroads can — and should — recruit, hire and train the next generation of talent to ensure safe and successful operations.
The featured speakers will be Gregg Robbins, director of technical services and security at Watco, and Andrew Stahl, founder and CEO of Stahl Recruiting.
Robbins will discuss cybersecurity considerations for the rail industry. He has 37 years of experience in IT, including 28 years with transportation and logistics companies, such as BNSF Logistics and J.B. Hunt Transportation Services Inc.
Stahl will discuss recruiting IT talent. He has experience as an executive recruiter in the rail industry, and built his firm to serve the growing transportation sector.
The summit will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern time and costs $119 per person to attend. RailPrime members can access it for free. Click here to register.
