The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) recently appointed Roger Minami director of the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU).

Minami most recently served the U.S. Department of Agriculture, where he held posts in the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, Foreign Agricultural Service, and Marketing and Regulatory Programs. He previously created and produced Central Coast Seniors, a weekly news and information television program targeted at active older adults in California.

OSDBU helps small, minority-owned, women-owned and other disadvantaged businesses compete for USDOT and USDOT-assisted contracts and grants.
