The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, Texas (METRO) recently awarded a three-year contract to engineering firm Ross & Baruzzini Inc. to provide security and information technology services.
The firm currently is assessing the effectiveness of closed-circuit televisions, and intrusion detection and access control systems throughout the METRO system. Ross & Baruzzini later will design the agency’s security systems and communications infrastructure.
