MTA Metro-North Railroad recently completed a two-year, $9 million project under which the commuter railroad expanded parking at Beacon Station.

Metro-North added 365 and rehabilitated 600 parking spaces, eliminating a waiting list for passengers seeking permits to park at the station, which is located along the Hudson River. The station also now features a drop-off area, pull-off area for buses, benches, information kiosks, bicycle racks, and new lighting, signs, paving and landscaping.
