Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) members have ratified a new five-year collective agreement with CPKC covering employees on the southern portion of the railroad's Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern (DM&E) property.
The terms and conditions of the agreement were reached on Oct. 8. The deal provides wage increases, more flexible work rules, stronger work-rule protections and increased meal allowances for about 250 train and engine employees operating trains in Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois and Missouri, BLET officials said in a press release.
