Wimmer to manage operations of UP's Portland Service Unit

Union Pacific Railroad recently named Todd Wimmer general superintendent of transportation services for the Portland Service Unit. He succeeds Ken Hunt, who was promoted to assistant vice president of operations.
Most recently superintendent of transportation services in Wichita, Kan., Wimmer will be responsible for operations in Washington, Oregon, northern Idaho and northern California.
Since joining UP in 1991, he also has served as manager-special projects and director of track maintenance in the engineering department.
