Pinsly names Chandler VP of engineering

Pinsly Railroad Co. LLC has hired Arthur Chandler to serve as vice president of engineering.
In his new role, he will oversee annual capital spending and lead initiatives across the Pinsly engineering team, company officials said in a press release.
Chandler brings 20 years of railroad industry experience to the role, having spent half his years with CSX and the other 10 with Genesee & Wyoming Inc. He began his career as a management trainee in engineering at CSX, and worked his way up to assistant division engineer in Buffalo, New York.
He joined G&W in 2014, where he has served as director of engineering testing and compliance, chief engineer of advanced engineering and chief engineer of production, Pinsly officials said.
“Having someone with [Chandler's] extensive experience leading our major efforts will greatly improve our ability to be the leader in engineering policy, training, infrastructure testing and — most importantly — safety in the railroad industry," said Pinsly Chief Operating Officer Scott Linn.
