Metrolinx has appointed Michael Lindsay as president and CEO, effective July 1. Lindsay has served as interim president and CEO since December 2024. Lindsay was selected for the permanent role due to his strong leadership and commitment to the organization, Metrolinx officials said in a press release. Before joining Metrolinx, Lindsay was president and CEO of Infrastructure Ontario, where he worked with public and private partners to build, manage and finance the province's infrastructure.

Keolis Group has promoted Abdellah Chajai to executive director of marketing, innovation, sustainable development and engagement. Chajai has spent the past four years leading Keolis Commuter Services, the operator of Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Commuter Rail. While at MBTA, Chajai has improved the commuter railroad's ridership and advanced decarbonization projects, Keolis Commuter Services officials said in a press release. A new CEO for Keolis Commuter Services has not yet been announced.

The Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority's (ACTA) board has reelected Long Beach Council member Suely Saro as chair for the 2025-2026 term. It will be her second time in the role. ACTA is a joint-powers agency established by the cities of Los Angeles and Long Beach to manage the freight-rail corridor connecting the port complex to the transcontinental rail network near downtown Los Angeles. Saro has represented Long Beach's sixth district since 2020, ACTA officials said.

The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee (T&I) Chairman Sam Graves (R-Mo.) yesterday announced Mark Ratto has been promoted to staff director of the Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines and Hazardous Materials. Ratto joined the subcommittee as a professional staff member in July 2022, according to a committee press release. Previously, he served as legislative director for U.S. Rep. Mike Bost (R-Ill.) and as professional staff for the House Committee on Small Business. Ratto also has served in Graves' personal office.
