Optimization Alternatives Ltd. Inc. (OA) recently named Edward McQuillan senior vice president. He will be responsible for global sales and business development in the transportation industry.
Most recently general manager of intermodal services for Hanjin Shipping, McQuillan has about 30 years’ experience in the transportation industry. He currently is vice chairman of the Intermodal Association of North America’s operations committee and a member of the Intermodal Freight Technology Working Group.
Established in 1986, OA provides operational control and decision support systems to the rail and intermodal industries, including Optimization Alternatives Strategic Intermodal Scheduler; Gate Activity, Inspection and Tracking/Damaged Equipment Notification; and YardHawk™ software.
