On Nov. 25, Norfolk Southern Corp. announced Burton Joyce had been elected to the company’s board.
Since 2000, Joyce has served as chairman of IPSCO Inc., which manufactures flat-rolled steel. He previously served as vice chairman, president and chief executive officer of Terra Industries, Inc., and held various executive positions with United Technologies, Compugraphic Corp., Airco, and Ernst & Ernst.
