Grissum to succeed Olsovsky as BNSF's AVP of telecommunications


BNSF Railway Co. recently named Gary Grissum assistant vice president of telecommunications to succeed Jo-ann Olsovsky, who will become VP and chief information officer March 31.

Grissum, who has 24 years of telecommunications experience, most recently was responsible for Sprint Nextel's network management center. He also led a Sprint Nextel team that built and maintained wireless networks in Europe, Asia, South America and the United States, and managed the information technology services group in Europe and Asia.
