Davison to head Sound Transit's communications, external affairs
Sound Transit has named Craig Davison executive director of communications and external affairs.
Davison brings 18 years of integrated and strategic marketing experience to Sound Transit. He previously served as senior director of marketing at Microsoft's Xbox Division, most recently leading marketing for Xbox Live. Earlier he worked as a brand director for Sierra Entertainment and for public relations firm Weber Shandwick.
At Sound Transit, Davison will oversee marketing, creative services, customer outreach, media relations, public information and programs involving the public in deciding where the regional transit system expands.
"Craig will play an important role in continuing to increase ridership on Sound Transit trains and buses while we work to deliver more than 30 miles of light-rail extensions," said Sound Transit Chief Executive Officer Joni Earl in a press release.
