advertisement
Kansas City Southern has appointed Michael Cline vice president and treasurer to succeed former Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer Paul Weyandt, who retired this summer. Cline will report to Executive VP and Chief Financial Officer Michael Upchurch.
A 28-year finance veteran, Cline previously served Great Plains Energy the past 10 years, most recently as VP of investor relations and treasurer. He also has held various finance positions with several other Fortune 500 companies.
Cline has "great breadth and depth of financial and treasury expertise," and his varied roles in publicly traded companies will bring “fresh perspective and solid value” to KCS’ financial team, said Upchurch in a prepared statement.
