Caltrain's oversight board elects officers

The Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (JPB) has elected Gillian Gillett chair and Dave Pine, vice chair, for 2019.

The JPB is the governing body of Caltrain, the commuter-rail service that operates in San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties in California. Gillett represents the city and county of San Francisco's board of supervisors; Pine represents San Mateo County's board.

Caltrain is managed by the San Mateo County Transit District, in partnership with the city and county of San Francisco and the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority.

The nine-member JPB includes three members from each of the three partner agencies.
