ARINC names longtime exec Jacoby chairman

ARINC Engineering Services L.L.C. recently named Frederic Jacoby chairman.
Jacoby has headed ARINC’s engineering division since 2002, when the company was created from ARINC’s Systems & Technology Business Unit. Under his leadership, the company has grown steadily, posting record bookings in 2003 and generating $360 million in revenue, according to a prepared statement.
Jacoby began serving ARINC in 1969 as a project engineer. He was named manager of the operational systems program in the Aircraft and Vehicles Division in 1975, and later promoted to division manager. In 1983, Jacoby was named vice president-general manager, then in 1994, senior vice president of ARINC Inc. and chief executive of the Systems & Technology Business Unit.
ARINC Inc. provides transportation communications and systems engineering services.
