U.S., Spain to share transportation technology expertise

The U.S. Department of Transportation and Spain’s Ministry of Development could learn a lot from each other to enhance transportation safety and efficiency — and they plan to. At a recent construction technology forum, representatives from the two authorities signed a memorandum of intent to share information about transportation science and technology.
Discussion topics include improving the design, construction and operation of highways, tunnels, air traffic-control systems, high-speed rail, port infrastructure and mass transit.
