In a unanimous decision, the Trinity Metro board voted on May 18 to renew its contract with President & CEO Richard Andreski for seven years.

Since joining Trinity Metro in 2022, Andreski has overseen initiatives to make the system more approachable and easier to navigate for existing riders and first-time users. He has also prepared Trinity Metro for infrastructure and expansion efforts that include the TEXRail extension into Fort Worth’s Medical District and the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) double-track project, Trinity Metro officials said in a press release.

“Rich has brought bold vision, strong leadership, and tremendous momentum to Trinity Metro,” said Jeff Davis, the board chair. “The board’s unanimous action tonight reflects our confidence in his leadership, the relationships he has cultivated throughout our region, and the exciting future ahead for Trinity Metro.”

“I’m honored by the trust the board has placed in me,” said Andreski. “The progress Trinity Metro has made over the last four years reflects an incredible team, strong partnerships across our region, and a shared commitment to building a transit system that helps shape the future of Fort Worth and Tarrant County.”

Trinity Metro serves Fort Worth and Tarrant County, with TEXRail providing direct access to DFW International Airport and TRE providing downtown connections between Fort Worth and Dallas. Trinity Metro also operates bus, on-demand paratransit and micro transit, bikes and vanpool services.
