Three audits find no fault with Sound Transit's finances
advertisement
Recent state, federal and financial audits have given Sound Transit a clean bill of financial health, finding no problems with the agency’s financial management systems.
The audits included one by the Washington State auditor for fiscal-year 2001, and two by accounting firm Deloitte & Touche for FY 2002.
The annual audits are among several accountability and oversight measures Sound Transit uses to ensure effective management of public resources, according to a prepared statement.
